Welcome. Unfortunately you have posted in the Announcement area. I'm sure that X will move it to the correct section. Each section has a description of what it is for.
If you are able to post on the board, your account is activated so there is no difficulty there...

Blondie is correct, you are listed under the membership and in the administration records so everything looks ok.
I am not sure why the link appeared to not work.
